About the Watty Awards
The Watty Awards is Wattpad’s longest-running annual event that seeks out, rewards, and uplifts the storytellers who choose to share their stories on Wattpad every year.

Each year, the Wattys celebrate the most creative, imaginative, and dedicated storytellers on Wattpad. This year, we’re calling on writers to submit Completed stories in English, Spanish, Filipino, and Portuguese. It’s time to wrap up those masterpieces, step into the spotlight, and share your work with the world.

From the shortlist, about 10 winners per language will be chosen. That’s around 40 winners total across all languages. Winners receive:

  • An exclusive graphic for your story cover


  • 1,000 Bonus Coins


  • Priority consideration by Wattpad WEBTOON Studios for entertainment and publishing partners

Judges may award this to notable non-winning stories. Honorable mentions get:

Grand prize

One grand prize winner per language, chosen from the winners pool. These stories are the best of the best. Grand prize winners receive a USD $5,000 cash prize.
